Well worth the read

This book was suggested to me by a friend. It was not the most amazing book I had ever read, but it was pretty good. You have to give Devoti props for an original storyline and interesting enough characters. Her writing kind of reminds me of the early Kelley Armstrong books, and hopefully like Armstrong Devoti's writing will only improve. I will be reading the next in the series to find out for myself...when I get around to it.

Lori Devoti's series kicks off with a bang. Very much enjoyed the unique take on urban fantasy protagonist. I fell in love with the characters. Lori's writing is crisp, snappy without being shrewish and reflects her characters well. I'm looking forward to the continuation of this new series!
