I ordered this due to its rave reviews on various podcasts. However it kind of drug on in the middle. I finally got to the point that I really didn’t care who did it and did not finish it.
A Mystery Within a Mystery

This book is a two for one murder mystery, with two separate but similar stories unraveling. I truly found the inner book, the true Magpie Murders, to be riveting. The other tale was slightly predictable and I was able to decipher the culprit nearly at the beginning. I would still highly recommend! Would also recommend his other series, The Word is Murder, for a similar high quality murder mystery.
